Are the OEM wiper blades my only choice. I recently bought some of those new Rain X blades, and for the life of me could not make them work. I've noticed that some of the online parts dealers as well as the local parts stores all say that these things will work. They don't. Please help.

 

The best plug and play wiper blades are made by Sill Blade, they will far outlast factory blades, do a Google search for a close location to buy them from.

 

Might work for a DI, but probably not a DII. I just replaced mine with refills from advanced auto. They are cheap and work fine, I don't know how long they'll last though. You would need to bring in your blades to match up the best fit and then I had to trim an inch off.

 

Your easiest fix for a quality blade is to buy the SilBlades from Atlantic British.

If you want more options, and long-term savings, replace your wiper arms with those of a D1.

Yup, go to a junk yard and buy yourself a pair of DI wiper arms and then you can buy wiper blades anywhere.
Yet another reason DI's are better than DII's.

 

i use piaa blades there rock and are not that much money

 

Yeah but you have a DI, DII's have special wiper arms and only the special LR wiper blades will work, you cant buy wipers for a DII at the store.
