Default Wiper blades - WTF?!?!?!

I’ve only had these on since June of this year - in CA!

Where can one finde decent quality blades for a D2?

D1 wiper arms and Bosch Icon 20" blades do well. Probably not the answer you want to hear but blades are readily available everywhere. Main reason I ditched those arms years ago. Same issue. I would leave the Stealership and couldn't get through a winter in Chicago!

Yep... you gotta replace the wiper arms. You can then find better 20" blades to fit. Crazy to think you have to go back to D1 wiper arms to get the "standard." But that's the fix.
Standard D2 wiper arms only will fit Land Rover 20" wiper blades which are absolute crap.

I switched to D1 blades and didn't have good wiping performance so I tried the @Alex_M mod for the D2 blades and have been satisfied and its great to be able to use regular blades and they are easy to swap out!

I found these and have used them since may this year. They fit perfect and do what they supposed to do

I also have some el cheapo eBay wiper blades on mine, still with D2 arms. They're not great. I'll probably go with D1 arms next time it really needs blades

If it's not a collector car switch to D1 wiper arms. Much greater selection of wipers available. I use silicon wiper blades which last longer.

Heh, I just got a set of D2 wiper arms to replace the D1 arms on my TD5 that some previous owner put on...

I'll hoard some D2 blades on my next rockauto order.
..or do the mod on the D2 arms to suit normal j clip blades...
