Greetings all, my first post and of course, it's out of desperation!
After dismantling my 98 Discovery passenger side interior and successfully clearing a blocked AC Condensation Line (thanks to this forum!) I was almost completely reassembled when I push a bit too hard on reinstalling the panel on the passenger side. Five colored wires pulled out of their plug (this plug is actually bolted to the car) and immediately, the horn started blowing. Now, the window controls don't work.
My problem is, I don't know what the color sequence is to reinsert the five wires into the plastic plug.
What do I do? I've looked all over the Web for the past 7 hours and can't find a specific wiring diagram to tell me what the sequence is for these wires. Can anyone give me advice?

Can you post a pic of it? Maybe somebody knows what you are talking about if they see a pic.

No problem, this sounds complicated so a visual referance will get you better results.

Aren't there rubber nipples for the a/c drains under the truck? Maybe it's different on a D1, but I've never heard of removing all those panels to clear the drains

Nice catch! The reason for my disassembled passenger area was because I was attempting to squeeze out the gallons of accumulated water that was collected in the underlayment under the carpet. I figured it would be easier to roll back the carpet, which was pinned down by the Right-Side kick plate, which also covers up the fuse/electrical area. I was able to get much of the water extracted, the AC Condensation rubber nipple cleared out, and everything back in place except for the last kick-panel before I caused my problem.
Fix one thing, cause another...
If I had access to another Disco I, I could go look at the color sequence of the wires and fix this problem. Unfortunately, it won't start due to the Theft Prevention System/Alarm (and I assume something to do with five electrical wires not being connected!) and it's a holiday weekend, so no help from my LandRover Service Department until Tuesday...

And then, desperation sets in...

 

Can you match the wires to the same color wires on the otherside of the connector?
Our camera died last week and we cannot find the old one, once we do I will try taking a pick and posting it for you.

 

Ok, took some pics, once my wife uo-loads them to her computer and then e-mails them to me and I up-load them to Photobucket I will post them on here.
Not sure if I got the correct plug or not though.

 

Ok, that makes sense. I use a small boat fan I can shove under the carpet to help dry it out. That foam really can hold a lot of water huh?
