Default would any body buy this?

I do not know if it has the ability for the CDL or not. I am going to look at it in the next few days. It has always been garaged. The guy selling it said it has 101,000 miles and the interior is an 8 and the exterior is a 9. If I like i am thinking about $3500. any thoughts guys???

That's good mileage for an 01. I would definitely check it out and give it a good test drive. Haggle him about the LE, and that it's not an SE(SEs go for about his price). And maybe you can get him down to 4k.

Am I going crazy here? I see a CDL shifter on the center console just forward of the gear shifter right where it should be. Did the DII's come with a shifter that was not connected?

That's just the transfer case shifter. All DIIs have them. All but the 2004 models just went forward and backward for high and low. The 2004, and any other year that has been properly modified, has the CDL capability and can move right and left like the DIs.

Good to know. I was not aware of the shifter situation on the DII. I guess I just assumed that if it did not have CDL it would not have a shifter. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

I think if you can get it for $3,500 that would be a great deal.

Park it on some pavement after you test drive it and see where it is leaking from though. It is hard to see how bad she leaks on the grass.

That's a great looking disco, if he has maintenance records, everthing works, and the headgaskets have been done its worth about what he's asking. Definitely worth looking into.

He is about 2 1/2 hours away from me. I told him that i would like for him to meet me inbetween a little that way she will be hot when i see her. He did say that he drove it about three hours round trip the other night and never had any issues or problems. The one thing that he did say is that the carpet on the drivers side was wet. Did not smell like antifreeze but just water. Do these things leak? Or could it be the air conditioning?

could be the air conditioning drains, or the sunroof drain tubes.
