Default Yeah, I hit the house, and the house won.

Okay, so I hit the house and did some damage to the front passenger side bumper and side light. So what options do I have? I would like to keep the fog lights, I don't mind losing the headlight washers. Steel bumper? Brand? Retailer? Any help would be great.

20 years ago, a friend of a friend hit the gas instead of brake and plowed into the corner of his house in a small early 90s cadillac. The house was completely unscathed and the car had a V pushed 2 feet into its front.

I was amazed the car wasn't totalled by the insurance company, but apparently they fixed it.

ARB unless you'll be doing a lot of crawling. Made to squash kangaroos. Works on deer too.

After reading a ton on the interweb, i want to get a Tactical Rovers bumper, i got to say i love the design of the ARB bumper but almost everyone on here says that the mounting for the ARB is terrible and when you are winching, sometimes they twist right into the fenders or something else.

Hahha! That cats actually female. If she sprays I am selling the truck.

To the OP, I like the tactical rovers stuff A LOT but I was mainly concerned about traffic accidents and deer and the ARB provides more coverage and is built for collisions. It is too far out and too far down for serious offroading, IMHO, but the tactical rovers seems too high and too thin for pushing volkswagons out of the way. I think the twisting assertions related to older versions of the ARB and the version I have, 03/04, has cross bracing in the wings and very, very heavy duty mounts. I've winched with mine and jacked it from the bumper. It is a rock. I got my ARB on by myself. No issues. But you can't go wrong with either ARB or Tactical. Tactical's rock sliders are the bees knees! Another cool one is the TJM bumper. Very nice but I would have had to pay tax and I was unhappy with their shipping (out of San Antonio).
