Hi - I have volunteered to replace the rear left taillight that got smashed (the clear cover) for my Ex. She has gotten a salvage replacement and it should be on its way here to Austin soon. Might anyone know the SOP of removing the Taillight? I searched YouTubes but none for the 2020 year model can be found and the Land Rovers I have seen removing the taillight don't seem applicable to the 2020 Discovery Sport.
Thank you for any help - I have attached a parts photo of the taillight.
Land Rover Discovery Sport 2020 LR164045 REAR LAMPS. TAIL LAMPS.
1. Open rear hatch
2. Remove (on Left) the Fuse Cover. I just used my thumbnail to turn the latch mech.
3. Look up and towards the light, you'll see one screw with a spring on it.
4. Remove that screw
5. Push up on the clasp that is right below where the screw was at.
6. Whilst pushing that, pull out your left taillight.
7. Disconnect the molex connector between the Light housing and Car.
