I've recently received an email from Land Rover regarding the renewal of my InControl subscription for my 2021 Disco Sport. The cost will be £376 for 24 months!
"InControl" is described on the renewal page as "a suite of services and applications that connects you and your vehicle seamlessly to the outside world". Under the Summary heading is the description "Secure Tracker".

My last car was a 2016 Disco Sport and the InControl subscription was £57.60 for 24 months. I was informed that if I did not renew my subscription I would lose features such as a display of the current speed limit where I was etc. As I found these features very useful I renewed my subscription as £57.60 seemed reasonable.
That car did not have a secure tracker.

I realise that my new Disco Sport has a lot of features that my old one didn't have, but £376 seems an awful lot to pay. I don't even get a discount on my insurance for having a tracker!
There does not seem to be an option for choosing to keep all of the other services in the suite with the exception of the tracker, which I would have opted for.

Any thoughts?
