Can someone identify this part? I have a chance to buy a 2002 Disco and this part is broken. Are there other parts involved with replacing this part? Looking for an overall price of the replacement/repair and a source for the part if available.

 

I believe it’s the alternator mount. Simple to swap out. I’d hit up a local junkyard. Hope that helps!

 

It is the alternator bracket, and the belt tensioner is what mounts in the broken area.

 

Since the original post was three years ago, it's probably safe to assume the OP worked it out.
