Freelander 1 - Air Conditioner Not Cooling
Hi
I've just had the engine replaced in my Freelander 1999xdi. The air conditioner - which was serviced and working perfectly in February this year is no longer blowing cool air, just ambient temperature. Could the AC have been affected when the old engine was removed and replaced i.e. would the freon have leaked. Also, my mechanic has used water in the cooling system - just for 10 days to see if there are any leaks after which he will replace with glycol. Could this be having any effect on the AC. Thanks for any thoughts
