Had a very similar problem recently. So I am not saying this is it, but after a new battery replacement, the Hippo wouldn’t start, the battery was fully drained and 10v on the multimeter. Blown cell on new battery! One embarrassed garage later, and a new battery, the old girl still wont fire, but happily turns over but absolutely no signs of life explosion in the engine. LRF Tdi se Auto. So no chance of bump starting. It was the fuel pump in the fuel tank that had died. Like I said, it’s worth sharing known faults just in case…. About to have the VCU changed as the infamous judder has just appeared. Apparently I am extremely lucky as they tend to die around 35,000 miles on the tachometer, but I am just at 111,000, Just off to cut down another Money Tree to fund it … Such is the life of a Landy Owner ! Forests of Money Trees are required and no genuine owner seems to mind either ! Merry Christmas all.
