the problem is that most of the time my tc won't go off and there is this orange descent light with an exclamation point after it that is on at the ame time and when they are on my winsheild wipers won't work, help what is wrong

 

Interested in your problem, as my petrol 2003 freelander has the same fault, it came back from the "garage" and has hill descent control light on and the back wiper wont....well.....wipe
