Default Timing belt replacement

Hey guys. First post here, and I will admit *I am not a mechanic*. I own an '03 Freelander V6 2.5 with 70something thousand miles, and I understand it is time to replace the timing belt. The dealer wants to charge $2500, but as this is my second car, I'm looking to spend a little less. As a result, working with a mechanic who does regular maintenance on my Freelander.I usually buy the parts, and then bring the car to his shop where he does the work. However, I'm confused as what to purchase in this case.I think there are 3 timing belts for this car - is this right? Was also told that the water pump should be replaced at same time. What about the serpentine belt? I'm still using the originals for all of the above since I purchased the car new in January '03.Also looking for antifreeze for car is difficult - who sells this stuff besides the dealer? Any help is appreciated!

Yes, there are three timing belts. Yes, you should do the water pump at the same time(I would replace the thermostat housing and bypass pipe while you're in the area, too, as they tend to fail and result in a massive coolant leak fairly often). The serpentine belt should have been replaced during the 60k, so unless the 60k was not performed, I wouldn't worry about the serpentine belt. As far as the coolant goes, it uses Dex-Cool which can be purchased at any autoparts store.
