Hi Friends,

I was trying to find VIN Number on the frame of my 1992 Range Rover Classic.
Can any body please tell me the exact location of this Chassis (VIN) Number?

 

Shouldn't it be behind the forward windshield on the driver or passenger side in the dash? I swear that is where my boss's was on his classic. If you are looking specifically for the chasis vin number (which should be the same as the one on the dash), look in the door jambs, and in the engine compartment.

 

You will find the chassis number on the front RHS just opposite of the steering box. I think it starts near the bolt of the steering box.
