Default 97 Rover fuel issue

There is a intermitten fuel pump issue on a 200k vehicle. We can't decide if its the fuel pump that is the issue or other factors. The car would not start a month ago and it was towed home. The fuel filter was replaced and all the air was sucked out of the line. It then turned over fairly easily. In total it started twice in a 10 minute span and run fine. Then we attempted to start it a 3rd time. That time it didnt work and there was ni fuel pressure. Would really appreciate some help sorting this out. Thanks!!

I had this same problem with my 95 RRC. After hours of pulling my hair out (and getting stranded a couple times) I discovered that it was a bad connection to the fuelpump/assembly located on the top of the tank under the access cover. I replaced that 4 prong connector and now starts every time.

I've also heard that this problem could also be cause by a bad ground wire located in the rear (not sure where)

could be bad fuel pump, located in rear of the truck. Check Rave for location and replacement tips.
