Default Air Suspension question

I have a 99 HSE... drivers side rear seems to be low when its parked. How much of a pain is it to work on, or should I just bring it in? Appreciate any input on this. Figures I can take a helicopter apart and put it back together, but I'm retarded when it comes to vehicles.

I assume you mean it lowers down after it's parked for a while. You can replace the air spring assembly for $400 or so. Its easy, two spring clips and the air line. You can also try to replace just the bellows. A company in Florida has taken over production for Rover/Ford. They are about $100. It's kind of like putting a tire on a rim, you have to work it.

As long as the air suspension system is still working and you don't introduce a fault code in the process. Only Dealer or Viacom can clear.

Just read your responps to FlyUgly. I am new to site this week and would like more information on the air bellows. My 2000 Range Rover needs all 4 new air bellows. Dealer said they are dry rottening(97,000miles first set). I looked online for the replacement OEM bellows and thought they are about $400 a set? Are you saying this company in Florida sells the rubber bellows for $100each? Is there contact info, web site? Also the bellows able to be replaced in my own home garage with basic tools? Looking forward to discussing this issue with you. Thanks for your help Dave

just convert it to the coil springs and save yourself the headache......its like 1500 and alot sheaper that all the problems you'll have with the air

The coil spring conversion is cheaper in the long run. Those who want to maintain the air suspension system, I'll get you the link.
