Default Biltmore Estate Land Rover Driving School

Has anyone done the Land Rover Driving School at the Biltmore Estate?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iRcfc_Rj6y0

It looks like fun and it would be a good way to take this car off road without having to worry about damaging your ride...

When is that? I don't live too terribly far from Biltmore. I would love to find out more info. Where did you hear about it?

It is on the Land Rover Web Site (below):

With Costs and Details (below):

I did this with Hummers (H1's and H2's) at another luxury resort and it was a blast!

I have read about it but have yet to attend. Definitely on my bucket list as well as Eastnor Castle event in U.K. http://www.eastnorcastle.com/corpora...ivity_days.htm

If you really want to learn, by hands on experience, what a Rover can do, especially yours, contact Bill Burke. He is the BEST well known and respected man to take you out for a 1 to 5 day experience you will never for get instead of driving on a little muddy trail thru some estate.

I am definitely going to do this soon with my Range! It is hard to own this car, knowing what it can do, without unleashing the demon from time to time.

It is like owning a Ferarri and never going over 65 mph

They never have these types of things in Canada. I hear about these and see people going to these & I always think I would love to attend one. Has anyone on here ever been to one? (not necessarilly specifically for their Rover, maybe for a different car)

This is the one that I did a few times. I drove the H1 and H2 and it was incredible. Besides the proving ground they let you go through the woods. They make new trails by using a bull dozer to plow throughthe woods. It really is a blast.

With that said, you don't have to have a formal course to have these adventures. I love the spontaneous off road trips that I take from time to time. I can honestly say that I look for excuses to take the Range Rover off-road.

Luxury1, I checked out that link and that looks like fun. How close is that to seven springs? I used to live in Pittsburgh.
