Default Body Side Moldings

Do any of you have the body side molding accessory to protect the car doors? I was thinking about getting it but haven't seen it in person and wondered what it looked like.

The good thing is that my car is black so hopefully you won't be able to see it very well.

Thoughts?

It is an accessory from Land Rover that you put on the doors to prevent door dings when in parking lots. Land Rover calls it body side molding and I think it is rubber or perhaps plastic. You can see it in the link in the original message.

Rover Connections sells a set of four (Part Number: DGJ500140PMA) for $260.

It is actually listed on Land Rover USA under Range Rover accessories for the current model.

personally, i dont like them. both in apearence, and also a lack of functionality. yes, if something hits them, it will protect the doors, but most things hit higher, shopping carts, most car doors, angry friends with baseball bats. plus they have a tendancy to peel back at the edges, its a rubber foam thats attached by nothing but double sided tape
