Hello everyone,
I was just going to try to figure out why my testbook on my HVAC system is on and was wondering if anyone sells software that I can load onto my laptop and plug into the OBD II plug and read what codes it is displaying? I have a hand-held scanner, but that only reads engine codes. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Rovacom makes a device and software that plugs into your laptop, that is as good if not better than what the dealer has. Unfortunately it is kind of expensive, last one I saw on ebay was over $600.00

 

Thanks Scott. $600.00 doesn't seem so bad. I'm sure the dealer would charge half that amount to read the codes on my HVAC and of course my SRS light is on too. I'll check e-bay.
