Default Do Dealers Lease Used Cars?

As you guys know, I am coming up to the end of my lease on my '07 RR HSE and have only two payments left. The car has been awesome and I am definitely getting another Range Rover.

I have decided that the next one needs to have the rear seat entertainment and cooled seats and I have been leaning towards a Supercharged model.

For the first time in my life I am being somewhat fiscally responsible when buying a car and have decided not to buy or lease new as I am perfectly happy with the year that I currently have. I have been talking with my dealer about bringing in a car ('07 Black SC) from auction but they told me that they might not have to go to auction as they have what I want coming in off lease in a few weeks (the price and condition have not yet been determined). I have set my price limit to the low $50's so we will see what they come in with...

In any case, I like leasing a lot since there are tax benefits in my case, I like the fact that I am always under warranty and in a few years I can easily turn it in and get another. So in this situation do you think a dealer would lease a used vehicle? Of course I will talk to them about this in a few weeks but I thought I would float this idea out here first.

We leased our Jaguar XJR used from a dealer (not a jag dealer though). I'm pretty sure that they would lease one to you.

I kind of figured they would and it is nice to know that it has been done before. Hopefully the lease rates are more reasonable on used than the rediculous rates they have been asking for new.

If you try to lease a used vehicle, get quotes from different leasing companies, some are less then other, some use different residual valves which can help or hurt you so beware.

Will do. I have only one lease (my current lease) under my belt so I appreciate the tip!

One other question related to that, when you lease from another company, does it make it harder to turn in the vehicle at the end because the leasing company wants to maximize their profit or is it pretty much all the same?
