Doesn't Have to Do With LRs, but has anyone experienced this?
My father bought a 2002 chevy blazer that is to be my brothers new car. Today I decided to hook up my OBD scanner to see if I could read the airbag and security fault. It only threw one code, it was a thermostat issue. It was cooling itself fine, so I figured there wasn't an issue and the code had just been left in the system. So, I decided to clear it. After I cleared the code, everything ran fine for another 5 to 10 min and I decided to shut it down and restart it to see if the code would back up again. To my dismay the vehicle just sits there cranking the engine and barely starts for about 1/2 of a second and dies. Of course, I have been blamed for the problem (and will have to pay for it) even though, I don't think clearing a code would have done this. Could it? Even though, this is not an LR topic, I'm hoping somone out there has had a similar experience, and I would really appreciate the help.
