Default EAS Arrow with Truck

I converted to springs and after installing the EAS module supplied I still can't get the picture of the arrow and truck pointing up to go away? I am going to pull the up/down switch and disconnect those christmans lights, but not sure how to removethe truck and arrow... Any suggestions?

Is your EAS system set to manual? Mine is completely disabled, height sensors removed and all, then the computer is set to manual. I just get a beep everytime I start up when it says EAS Manual.

So you installed the module that came with the kit? How would I set the computer to manual? I also get the EAS Manual in the info center and then it goes away, but the arrow is still pointing up along with the truck. Is there a certain fuse that I can pull to remove light?

It's possible there is a fuse or something...but I think my mechanic just cut power in the dash....The height switches are in-op (hazards still work), but the light on the cruise control master switch does not light up...still functions properly..just no light.

Then again....just killing the lights on the switch wouldn't make the arrow-up/truck light go away on the dash....hrm...
