Still believe it is related to the computer and not the actual parts that you have gone through. It could be something crazy like a loose wire somewhere that is causing it to freak out. If you disconnect the EAS computer harness it will stay where it is. Try to drive it a little and then shut it off and reconnect it again. I am just shooting in the dark here since I have never had mine come back after a driving it around a couple times.
