Default Engine Knocking with 1993 LWB RR

Hi all,

Hoping someone can help me out. My RR has been making a knocking noise when I first turn it on for a few days now. It used to go away if I let it warm up for a couple of minutes. Over the course of the week it is taking longer and longer for the knocking to go away. The weather has recently dropped and does get down to 0 degrees a some point in the day. Also, I have found that it has started to use a lot of coolant (no apparent leaks or puddles though)...

Can anyone help me out? Is it just sludge in the oil lines? Oil pump? Or (yikes!) something worse???

have you always parked the vehicle outside?... it might be wise to buy an engine block heater if it gets that cold out and its outside. It is probably getting progressively worse due to the temperature falling each day. And how long have you had this vehicle?
