anyone know how to connect an iPhone to a 2004 Range Rover so that it plays the ipod through the speakers

You have to get the Special Ipod hookup wire. Plugging it into aux jack isn't going to work. Land Rover Dealers are selling it with new ones, I don't know if it can work in an 04 though.

thats that good ****, hooks it up to your factory radion so you can scroll and control all your music through the dash screen. a bit pricey, but a great luxry, your choice.....

no, you dont need that. thats just a universal style mount that you can mount anywhere in the car and run the adapter cable to the bottom so you can see your iphone or what ever, but im just as good leaving mine in the cupholder, or i always use the square in froint of the shift ****, just lean my phone against the dash and have the bottom of the iphone in that square and it wont move except with an erratic turn

Nice, thanks. I do have to admit that with everything my RR has, it's hard to believe it doesnt have any AUX ports or even a cassette player to allow an IPOD or iphone to play without needing to buy/install additional parts; kinda irritating but oh well...Thanks for the info.

there is a cassette player, push the eject button at the top right of the headunit, and it will slide down and theres a casette player. i have used a cassette adapter with grear results too...

In a 2004 as well? I always saw that it said they had a hidden one and everyone else had been saying they didnt have one. Thanks I almost bought that part
