RE: p38
Hi, 4 days ago one of my nightmares came true! Ongoing home, crusing at a mild 100kph my 98' RR P38 2.5 DSE (BMW Engine) laid down on his 'knees' after a last and final breath of the EAS: "EAS FAULT" "DO NOT EXCEED 55KPH".
The worst was yet to come... the rest of the 60km to my residence... even at a ultra low speed, the RR P38 jumped on any irregularity, becoming very unstable...
Now, i am waiting to recover my budget (have replaced 4 tyres recently) to take the P38 to the dealer, cause i understand that is impossible for me to recover from the ECU error without a ROVACOMM testbook.
But EAS errors in P38 are very very common... until know just turn the key off. Wait 1 or 2 minuts and turn the key on...
Thanks!
VP
