i have a p38 1998 and when you start it it sometimes stalls either when its hot or cold it will do this until you give it plenty of contant revs thanks

 

I have had the same problem - I found that when turning the key you need to turn it to the ignition position and wait for maybe 1-2 seconds - If you turn it quickly it fires then cuts out. I think the computers need to charge up or something.
I have a 1995 4.0 SE - A great bit of weekly therapy. Tons of things to keep ahead of but worth every minute.
