Default sold the P38 for a L322 supercharged...

made a bit of a jump this week.

i've loved both of my p38s and its still one of my favorite rovers, but i got a great deal that i couldn't refuse. found a nicely kept 2006 supercharged L322 and on the same day also had an excellent cash offer on my P38 that i just recently got back on the road which made me a healthy $2,000 profit. i hated to get rid of the P38 since i just replaced the entire EAS and it was a cream puff despite is 200k miles but the L322 won my heart.

i'm going to miss the simplicity of the p38 compared to the new one, but the L322 is a totally different animal.

no major plans for the new one right away, but i am really anxious to do some wheeling in it to see how it compares to the P38. although if i end up doing much of it i think some more aggressive tires may be in order, as i do look forward into taking it into northern MN off the beaten path on occasion.

i know enough to be dangerous on the L322, but i haven't had any hands on experience with this generation.

what can i expect with the new one? from what i've found is the 03-05 seem to be the problem childs and the 2006+ a bit more reliable all around. any areas that i should pay close attention to?

Congrats on the purchase!

I've always had a soft spot for the L322. They sure do look the part of a Range Rover. It never ceases to amaze me how Land Rover manages to maintain some of the DNA of the RRC and make it look really good.

Actually, they do that with all of their recurring models.
