Touchless carwash?

Has anyone taken their Rover through one?
I remember seeing in the manual it said that water shouldn't be sprayed directly at the gills & I was wondering if the manual meant like actually aiming and trying to get water inside or just don't spray directly at that area in general.
Rover is dirty and it needs a wash (and unfortunately I don't have a reason to take it to Rover service) & I'm just too busy.
I don't want to take it to a hand wash place because there's a lot of salt on it & they might just grind it in so I'm thinking touchless but they use high pressure jets.
Let me know what you guys think.
(I'm clearly hoping someone takes theirs through an automated car wash frequently and is going to tell me not to worry and that everything will be fine)
