Default TPMS Question

I bought a 2006 RR Supercharged a few months ago and noticed that the rear tire valve stem caps were impossible to take off. I needed new tires, so took it in today and they basically had to rip the valve stems off to get the new tires filled. They game me the caps which apparently are the TPMS sensors. Now I am getting a message saying there is an error with the TPMS sensors.

How do I fix? Can I just purchase these at the dealer or is there more too it? Thanks in advance....

Sounds like they broke the TPMS sensors and replaced them with normal rubber valves without telling you. They look like this:

YOu can get replacement ones, but they're kinda pricey.
