Window sizes on Rovers. Help with Tint Please!
Hi
I recently purchased a used 1992 Rover County Classic which I love.
I am hoping to tint the windows (there are alot!)
I've been looking for a pre-cut tint kit on ebay and can only find one for Rover Classics from 1995 to 2002.
From studying the pictures of those years, the window sizes seem to be the same. Can anyone tell me if they are?
Thanks,
Chris

RE: Window sizes on Rovers. Help with Tint Please!
I tinted my 89 classic a few years back. It was trial and error for the first window but the rest were actually fairly easy to do. I just placed the tint on the outside of the window and cut, then trimed when needed as I placed it on the inside of the window.
If you can not find pre-cut tint then I would DIY. One option is to go to your local tinter and see if they sell the tint by the foot/yard. The other option (probably cheaper) is to buy it online (always buy more than you need in case of mistakes). You can buy an entire roll of prof. grade tint for around 100 bucks if I remember correctly. A kit to install it is around 10-20 bucks also.
When I was done with mine (took me about 5 hours) it looked great and lasted over 5 years (probably still on there after I sold the car)
