Hi,
I have some questions about my discovery. I have owned the car since I purchased it 1999. It has 150k miles on it and I have some questions if someone would please help me.
First off the motor is making a ticking sound almost like its a diesel. Recently I have had to replace the front drive shaft twice within 6 months. Does anybody have any suggestions on what I can do to stop the ticking sound and keep my drive shaft from breaking. Or if there is a place within the Los Angeles area that can look at my car.

Whoever rebuilt your drive shaft didn't replace the center ball.

What failed in the propshaft that you needed to have it replaced?
Did you replace with new, or have it rebuilt?
