Default 2000 Range Rover new purchase

Thinking about buying a 2000 Range Rover 4.6.
126k miles. Please tell me the pros and cons.
I'm a good mechanic.

If you’re a good mechanic and the vehicle is in decent shape you will love it. I’ve had my ‘97 P38 for 5 years now and it’s my favourite vehicle that I’ve ever owned. Lots of people remove the air springs and go with coils. Resist the urge and keep it on air.

The EAS system is basic, but there are many many fail points and switching to springs is the path of least resistance (and least expense, long term). Like any 22 year old vehicle, all sorts of things will be worn out but I haven't found anything I couldn't handle.

Head gaskets are always an issue with the 4.6. Mine sprung a leak out the back of #7 cylinder last winter. For no good reason. Just started leaking down along the bell housing.
