Air compressor turns off after 15 seconds. LR3
Hello, new member here! ..but trust me ive gone through every air suspension thread on this site!
I have a 2006 LR3 with 160k miles on it.
Ive got something going on with my EAS system. When I turn the car on the compressor runs for 15 seconds, then turns off and gives an amber suspension fault.
However, if I turn my car off and on again multiple times letting the compressor run, fault, then turn it off again, then on... pressing the offroad height switch every time, eventually the car will begin to raise and I can go into offroad mode. Also my car randomly has a transmission fault (F on the dash and its always a random gear im stuck in) and my dash lights up like a christmas tree, but that goes away if I turn the car of and on again (maybe they are related?)
So far I have replaced the air drier, rebuilt the compressor, cleaned the front air distributer block, brake light switch.. If I pull fuse 26 in the engine bay the truck does not lower overnight at all. but with it in its flat by the morning.
Other symptoms include- when the compressor starts working and I hit the offroad switch, it raises until it is in extended mode. I also get faults 'Normal height only" "vehicle raising slowly"
The compressor works fine, and the struts are holding air, so im guessing its either a leak between the compressor and air blocks or faulty ride height sensor(s)
Any thoughts? Thanks!

I think its getting worse. Now no matter what I do I get the suspension fault exactly 15 seconds after I turn it on. While riding, sometimes I get a 'normal height only' suspension fault.
Sometimes the rear raises up a little bit. but the front never does.
I got a new plug for my air reservoir under the truck and put a valve on it so I can monitor the pressure in the tank.
I pressurized the tank to 120psi with my shop compressor and turned on the truck and flipped the suspension toggle switch. I heard a valve open and close, I think its the exhaust valve. Anyway every time i restart the truck and flip the offroad switch a little bit of air drains from the tank. I dont think it makes it to the air struts and the compressor cant refill the lost volume in 15 seconds so after awhile the air tank is totally empty.
this problem has really got me. I have no clue how to even diagnose it.

I think Im having the same issue. I got a code for B1D14-15, code, but when doing another scan with my ICARsoft LR v3, it also says compressor shuts off intermittently. I have to look at it again, but it sounds like kind of what you described with the reservoir. Im gonna try and manually inflate the struts some how, disconnect the fuse, then watch it to see if it starts lowering overnight. Atleast that will tell me if there is a leak somewhere. Very frustrating. I wish they atleast had a back up spring built in so the suspension doesnt drop all the way down like this.
