Default Brake Install

Considering installing new rotors and pads for a 2003 LR discoII. I'm your average amateur mechanic. Is this project within my skill level??? I'm trying to save some money.....
Thx Rick

Sure, it is pretty easy and many of us can whlk you thru it.
How many miles on your truck, will this be the first brake change and where are you getting your parts from?

The Disco has only 30k on it, so its the first brake change. I was thinking of getting the parts from Atlantic. Suggestions?

Check with your local Auto Zone and order a set of their life time guaranteed ceramic pads. Every one I have spoken to has had good luck with them and the price is right. Also buy a can of sound deadening material to put on the back of the pads and 2 quarts of brake fluid so you cab do a full brake bleed afterwards.
When you get ready to do it shout and we can walk you thru it.
