Default Broken, unknown piece of aluminum. Help!

Hey all,

My father and I did a little snow bashing this past storm in CO and he got his vehicle stuck. I, of course, had to get him out of it. It took some pretty forceful pulling with a tow-strap to get it done. He drives a '94 D90 and I have a '03 DII.

Well, after the snow melted, he found this piece of aluminum in the grass. No idea where it might have come from, but one of the Rovers is our best guess. Does anybody recognize this part or know if it even came off any of our vehicles? Called the local Rover dealership to no avail.

I've driven the DII a couple hundred miles since that day with no issues, so I don't think its from that, but you never know. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Dang brah! You have been driving those hundreds of miles with only 1 motor-mount!

Nah I'm just kiddin' lol

Is that a polyurethane mold? Or is it completely made of metal?

Its completely made of aluminum. The silver cylinder-looking piece is also held in with a set-screw and comes completely out of the larger portion.

We've checked out the DII and the D90 a bunch and cant find anywhere this piece would go. Everything looks in order on both vehicles. At this point, we have to assume it came off of something different unless somebody here definitely recognizes the part...or my motor falls out...

Thanks for the response though!
