Disco 300tdi manual into V8 auto RRC?
Just wondered if anyone else on here had done this before as my Disco 300tdi has come to MOT time and needs a new body.
The engine is great after being rebuilt just before xmas and the RRC I have doesn't run due to electrical issues but was fully re bodied before it's last MOT and is mint.
It's a 1995 Discovery 300TDi manual going into a 1988 RRC V8 3.5 auto
If anyone has any pointers or issues they came across please let me know!
Thankyou kindly,
Jon

Hi guys!
I am in the UK and have decided to remove the Disco body and replace it with the RRC's body (the pics show why). I am making up a blog with pics as I couldn't find a write up anywhere I thought I'd make one. http://82.38.244.203//forum/viewtopi...5c9235974cc774

I do already ave a few parts that will be fitted once the Disco body is off such as new UJ's for the props and poly bushes.

Wow well this became a great project to tackle, I do like a good challenge!
Have a look at the the blog in this link: Trans Pennine Off Road events • View forum - RangeRover to see how things have panned out!!!!!
Well happy,
oh, cost me nothing as everything sold paid for everything bought (I love eBay) also funded a new set of mud tyres ready for winter.

Still working on it along with the last bits of wiring.
I have a whole bunch of off road gear to go on too including rock sliders, tank gaurd and hitch and a filler neck gaurd (there goes the fuel economy!) but still waiting on the snorkel kit before I start. Will try and fit it all in one day lol!
