Default engine loses power but no engine light

96 disco,42,000 miles i posted this before then relized my wife was putting low octane in the disco, so now we run 93 octane but sometimes around 60mph the engine loses power, but the engine light or anyother does not come on,it comes and goes, took it to the dealer hooked it up and nothing at all wrong, what would cause the car to lose power until i press the gas pedal further down then it catches and runs again, and this only happens once in a blue moon, bad gas??fuel filter??fuel pump??

Certainly possible, get your fuel filter changed so you don't screw up your injectors and go from there.
