Default Error P1448: ELC System 2 Fault

This is the code that I received at AutoZone for my 1999 Discovery 1, after the check engine light appeared. Does any one know what this means. I have read that it may be the vacuum system, which may make since why my cruise control is not working, though I don't know where to start checking for this.

Thanks for any help.

Here is your fault, "P1448 Evap System Purge Valve Flow 2 Fault "
So how is your truck driving? How many miles on the truck?
The cruise control runs on it's own pump so if you are having problems with it, start checking all the vaccum lines especially the long line that runs to a switch at the brake pedal.

The autozone code "P1448: ELC System 2 Fault" and the one you gave ("P1448 Evap System Purge Valve Flow 2 Fault ") are the same?
My truck seems to be driving fine, I have not noticed anything unusual. I have about 114000 miles on the truck. I am not familiar with engines, should I be looking for a Purge Valve for the code problem and a cracked vacuum line for the cruise control?

This is an area I am not real good on, should probably at least talk with a shop and see what they say.

I would agree with Mike on the cruise control. I have had to replace all my rubber hose going to the cruise control. It was easy and cheap to do. It seems like with my 97 Disco, if it was made of rubber you might as well get ready to replace it.
