Default getting tired of my ambient lighting LOL!!

The check engine light will not go off on my 2000 Range Rover. I have had the oxygen sensors replaced and other codes fixed my my mechanic, who I know personally, and the light stays off for a day or two but comes back on. I've done the drive cycle a few times but still have the orange glow on my dash. I've had same issue with other RR but this time I'm keeping the car so I want to find out what's going on. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks for any info!!!

How many miles on your truck, do you run a K&N air filter in it?

Most of the fault codes indicate a bad MAF sensor, the lean codes and the tranny codes are normal when the MAF fails.
If you want to talk to me some on this and then get with your mechanic, send me your tele number and i would be glad to walk you thru this.

Thanks, just had to stop by Roverland 4X4 in Alexandria, VA. about fixing the side view mirror that just needed to be popped by in, thank God! LOL and asked him about K & N filter and said I needed to replace MAF. He rattled off the codes without me even telling him so between the 2 of you I'm having it done Monday morning. I wish I found this site 5 RR ago!! Thanks again, Bobby

You might want to order a new MAF on line and install it yourself, only takes 5 minutes to hook up and then clearing the codes afterwards.
I know a site where you can buy a MAF for around $125. I don't know if you were quoted a price to have the work done, but you can save yourself some money.

I'm up for it. They quoted me $450 for parts and labor. How hard of a job do you think it is to replace the climate control display?
