Default HELP HELP HELP!!!!!

I bought a 2004 freelander in Sept of this year with 86000km's on it. I noticed a coolant leak after 2 weeks but the leak was internal. The dealership where I purchased it from ( not landrover) failed to find it when I brought it in for inspection. After I got it home I still noticed the leak and towards the end of Oct it broke down. Now I brought it to Landrover for a diagnostic and they said that the coolant leaked into the engine and cracked the engine top and that the timing belt jumped pulley as well as 3 cylinders were now out. Now my question is, was this a chain reaction did the leak lead to one thing which led to another or was this just bad luck on my behalf. I mean....a timing belt failing after 90kms, really??? Needless to say I've gotten a lawyer and we may have to take this to court for litigation because the dealer doesn't want to take responsibility for this but I would like to have all of my defenses up.

PLEASE HELP!!!!

Default RE: HELP HELP HELP!!!!!

How often does your owners manual state to change the t-belt?
It can happen early, and does sometimes.
