I have a 2000 Landrover Discovery II. The doors will only lock if I use the button on the dashboard. Once I get out of the car and try to lock the driver side door with the key (not a key fob), it will not lock any of the doors. So, if I go into a store, my landrover is left unlocked. Someone told me that I might have to have the lock cylinder replaced or reset.

Does anyone know anything about this or what I can do to get my doors to lock again with the key?
