Thanks boys! I am going to handle this on Wends. I have a locksmith whom can guarantee me entry. Who knows. I'm sure I will be back on Wends afternoon mountain time!

I would think breaking the window and replacing that is cheaper than the tow. Hopefully you can get it fixed before the next snow storm hits us on Wednesday.

70 degrees today and 4-8 inches in the forecast for Wednesday. 80 degrees last Monday and 6-12 inches last Wednesday. Crazy Denver fall weather.

Bruizza...do you live in Denver as well? I get free towing with my roadside service so that isn't a problem. I am more concerned that if I get into the car, the alarm won't be disengaged so that I can actually start it. Sigh... what do you think?

I also live 3 blocks from where I work. So I bike to work. But I still need a car. I will be on the forum today when the locksmith arrives.

Just because your key wont fit into the door does not meen it will not work the
Ignition. Unless you "super locked" the truck with the key you should still be able to start it. Try hitting the master unlock button on the dash before you try and start it, dont know if it will help but it cant hurt.

Good idea! Who knows what the problem is. But I will definitely be on the forum this afternoon. This locksmith is determined. I hope you has knowledge of land rovers along with his determination.

If you had fixed even one door latch over the last several years
this would have never happened.
You have now either worn out the tumbler, broken a piece of key off in the tumbler or
the l/s door lock shaft as broken.
Sometimes the tailgate latch release handle gets stuck in the release position
If this is the case and your tailgate latch is still functional, you can pry the green oval badge
from the tailgate handle and push the metal handle forward to its correct position, lock and unlock
the vehicle with the remote and try to open the tailgate.
If that fails..
Use the remote to unlock the vehicle,
pray the locks aren't superlocked, pry a window frame open enough to
grab a inner door handle with a coat hanger.
If that fails...
Smash a window or all of them just for fun.
