Hi,

I have a 2008 LR3, black on black. When I bought it, the fenders were very discolored and faded. I had it professionally detailed and this did not do much. I would not mind, except it looks like someone did a real bad job and u can see all type of streaks. Can anyone recommend a product to restore the Black back (i have tried Mothes black fender restore, but no luck)? I don't want to buy new ones (which are really expensive) and the rest of the car is in mint condition, so it looks even worse.

I was consider buying paint, but what type, and that could get messy

I have used forever black http://www.foreverblack.com/products.html with good success. A few members have painted their fenders with good results, do a search on this forum and see what you think.
