New to my Disco
Hi,
I'm just learning a lot of DIY with my land rover disco 2000.
I have heard mixed arguments about the fuel filter. Some say it has
one that is replaceable and some say it's in with the fuel pump in
the tank and is not replaceable until the pump needs replaced. Is this
true or is it replaceable like most?
Thanks,
Suebee

correct. fuel pressure can be checked on the fuel rail shrader valve, but I wouldn't worry with a filter clog as it is not a common occurrence.
cruise control common failure is vacuum (usually a line leak, sometimes the pump)
washer fluid is pumped by a number of pumps. if it works on the rear and not the front it could be a pump. if none are working it could be a fuse. if it is slow it could be a clog.

No luck
My windshield washer fluid wont work on the front or the back. When I pull the wiper switch forward for the fluid, I can hear the motor trying to pump but nothing will come out. I also tried blowing the air hose through the lines but nothing still.
As for the cruise, I have checked the vacuum lines and they look fine. Would the next step be replacing the pump on the cruise control?
