Every few days I get a "check side lamp" warning on my dash.
sure enough, hop out and my front drivers side SIDE(orange) lamp AND round white light are out.
a gentle TAP on the lens and it comes on.

figuring something is loose id like to get in there and check the bulbs/connections...unless anyone else has other suggestions as to what this issue is???

does anyone know of an online link for a schematic this front headlamp assembly and how to go about getting it off to check the bulbs???

while no mechanic im fairly handy but in the past ive left ALL car repairs to mechanics. frankly, im tired of giving them my money PLUS the nearest LR dealer is 45 minutes away, a major hassle.

Pull the bulb and check for corrosion and if the bulb seats firmly. Clean the bulb base and socket with electrical cleaner and apply silicone dielectric grease to the bulb and reinstall. See if that fixes the issue. Also, make sure the wires in the back of the socket are inserted fully.
