td5 starter problem

i have a td5 and as soon as you turn the key to ignition lights it starts up and the starter stays engaged while engine runs

you either have a ignition switch problem or a sticky starter, is it only happening when the lights are on or when u crank the engine

it happens as soon as you turn on the ignition the ignition lights come on and then it starts up but the starter stays engaged
