Default Tpms help

I have a 2008 Land Rover LR2 HSE. I will be installing winter tires on it and have a question about the TPMS. If I don't install the sensors on the new tires, what kind of alarms, bells, chimes and warning lights can I anticipate? I'd like to avoid the extra cost of the TPMS but will it be worth it if I drive around all winter with constant alarms? I can handle a warning light in the dash but what I don't want is a constant audible alarm going off. That could drive me crazy. Literally. Thanks in advance!

There shouldn't be any audible alarms going off. The only thing displayed will be the TPMS light indicator on the dash, therefore if your tire has low air you won't really know since the light would stay on continuously. I know my tpms light came on the other day when the temperature dropped drastically and all I needed was little air so the only thing I would recommend if not replacing the TMPS sensor is to make sure your tires are up to spec.
