What else could it be!!!!
Ok,
So first of all new user and this is post one, SO GREETINGS ALL AND CHEERS!!
So i am new to rover owning but not to some minor repairs on rovers.
Ill start off by saying im a fully certified and work as a Diesel Tech.
So here it goes im looking to you guys as one glimmer of hope here. I got a 94 Disco with a 3.9 liter, auto. I got the dreaded hot start issue, once running truck will run ok, but also has a stumble when its hot as well and will die. I have checked the fuel temp sensor, coolant temp sensors. i have installed a known good amplifier, also the truck has the relocated module kit. It has a distributor that does not have a module on it tho. possible aftermarket one.
I have got good plug wires, fuel filter is new new plugs. repaired several vacuum leaks. i should prob check timing if anyone has a way to do that, that would be great cuz i really cant see the timing notch on the block due to the power steering pump being in the way.
today i did notice something new tho, the fuel tank has got load of pressure in it after running, i do mean pressure cuz if i spin the cap off fast enough it will get blown out. after the truck sits for a little bit it will run just fine, then stumble and die when trying to give throttle, unless i keep my foot on the throttle at stop lights. also have installed a known good tps and cleaned the iac
i am thinking its a tank issue but i really am not sure. any help would be greatly appreciated
thank you
oh like i said it a 94 disco with a 3.9 liter in it

Also what direction is the distributor supposed to face. Right now the vacuum advance is pointed to the power steering pump this distributor showed no mounting spot for the amplifier as well thanks
