Last Friday I was out running some earns when I rolled my driver side widow down at the ATM my window started down and (your all thinking regulator but please read on) I herd the usual stop of the motor as the regulator reached the bottom but my glass was only about 5"s down. When I put my hand on it to press it down it dropped the rest of the way into the door. When the regulator pushes the glass all the way up it makes a crunch sound. (like walking on broken glass)
In rolling it up and down over the weekend the results are the same. Regulator runs smoothly up and down if I had to guess I would say by the crunch sound that my window has BROKEN from the regulator.
I am hoping someone out there has a clue of what is going on with my Disco. I am a DIY person but I now live in one of the worse places for parts. In fact the DMV was not sure what type of vehicle a LAND ROVER was.
