Hi every one, I'm in a serious rutt stuck in wood using laptop to try to find help and answer ... Went off-roading and truck stalled about 2-3 seconds after hit water slightly over hood... Now upon turning ignition key in position I only get loud clicking sound from under engine near driver side of injection rail and inside vehicule in kick panel passenger side. I'm have impression that water shorted ignition module. Gas pump ok already checked also fuses under hood ok and under dash driver side too.[

Its a 1996 discovery 4.0 gas model , the clicking sound makes me suspect fuel pump relay, because I tried the pump is ok. been on this since last night camped here in woods and taken most of last 14hours trying in my limits to eliminate factors. Air filter clean and dry and no water was found upon initial check. Pump does Pump . I dried down ecm module, and hoping the time would dry it out.
I wanted to find the napa part number for the relay on read on forum here to have a friend purchase it and ride it to me but I cant retrieve the post of the person giving replacement from napa since a napa is the closest solution I have here .... Also Is there a temporary bypass I could make to get to a accessible road about 3.5 miles out ..... the rest of the trail isnt that rough.....
Well I m new to your forum but must thank you in advance
